There is a company callde "Dockwise" that actually picks up yachts and takes them overseas for people. It is cheaper to ship the boat than to drive it. (Plus most of these modern mega-yachts with their big massive glass windows all over are not really ocean-going vessels but more just dock jewelry and fancy near-shore cruisers.)

The Dockwise vessels are interesting. They have huge ballast tanks so they can actually sink to where the deck is below water. They drive the vessels up onto the deck and divers weld in braces, then they blow the ballast tanks and raise the ship back up and take your yacht from the Caribbean to the Med for you.
