After I'd developed the cross-sections I wanted (combination of copying and also taking ideas from some other plans I'd purchased, like the Siskiwit), I lofted a few lines on plywood (traditional methods; learning curve for software is too steep for a one-off, for me) , and corrected the 'molds' from those lofted lines.

Then I set up the molds on the strongback (using shelf brackets), lined everything up, checked the rocker measurements again, and stapled a few strips on to stabilize the mold positions. Then stripped "in the usual manner'.....
