The spare paddle holders on the front deck are simplified copies of the carbon-fiber paddle holders made by David Thompson on Orcas Is, WA.

If you are looking to 'accessorize' your boat, something to consider. My wife gets more compliments about David's paddle holders than she does about her new boat!

David is a great guy and a very talented builder who does repairs, refinishing, CF seats, paddle holders, etc.

I thought the paddle holders were a bit expensive until I saw the (many) steps in David's fabrication process; I was even more impressed when I tried to make some simple copies.
