People who resist the bird's mouth method haven't tried it. I can't imagine anyone with actual experience choosing a more conventional laminating scheme over bird's mouth. This is because bird's mouth is actually EASIER, and surely appreciably stronger. Argue all you want, but I'm only listening to those who ain't afraid to try it first....

I'm really looking forward to seeing how this project goes. I keep wanting to make a Euro paddle using the bird's mouth method, which, by the way, was first seen by me right here on this forum when Shawn Baker, a former regular contributor, posted his web page on it:

..................but I think I'd rather get poked in the eye with a stick than haffta use a Euro paddle. :0)
