I've hesitated to use them because I already know I make short work of Keepers. I romp and stomp on my foot braces, and don't want surprises either. If Reg, Bill H, and John C endorse 'em, I'll give 'em a try on my next yak. Chuck and Sandra, the peeps behind DWs, are personal friends and I'd sure prefer to buy from them.

DWs also sells rubber hatches and rings ala VCP/KajakSport that cost a heck of a lot less, look just as good. They sent me one to inspect when I was building my OI v.2, but I ultimately went with flush hatches to save lbs, $$$ and looks.
