Our local dealer has had to replace a few that had the teeth break, generally they work ok, just arn't as durable as the ones with the metal tracks. One of the downsides to this design is they are fairly easy to adjust but not be all the way locked they feel secure this way, but you're then putting the load on the ends of the teeth vs. the base where the teeth are strongest.

They turn 90 degrees to unlock and again 90 degrees back to lock, if not turned all the way the teeth have broke. Operator error, but still it's possible.

Of course all the other all plastic adjustable designs have similiar problems, not just these.
