It was chilly, air temps around 50-degrees. I'm guessing the water was in the low 60s, maybe mid-60s, but I can't be sure. I wore gloves and didn't get my hands wet directly at all. As the morning progressed, it got a bit warmer (but, I was still off of the water before 10am). I figure that I have another 2 weeks of potential paddling in the gear that I have (wet suit + thermals + wind break layer on top). I haven't made the dry suit jump just yet - I just don't know how much more season it's going to bring me, I'm really not a fan of cold weather.
