I'll have to look at the pix at home tomorrow, pix are blocked on this computer.

The coaming is one of the highest loaded parts of a kayak, with entering and leaving the cockpit and putting on an often ripping off the skirt puts large strains on it. That and fiberglass coamings are very thin material the glue area is tiny. Anything you try to glue in place will fall out, usually the first time you use the boat. It'll have to have a piece put into place so the underside of the coaming is smooth or it'll eat skirts, then the entire coaming will need a layer or two of glass to hold the piece in place and not make the repair obvious. Gets tricky doing all of this in a place that everyone will see every time you use the boat and if not done correctly will definately kill the resale value of the boat.
