Most of the shores in Denmark has sand or smaller rocks. Here is some pictures of typical Danish coastlines (from The Danish Coastal Authority):

Of course we have waves, but rarely very big ones. (And if we do, then I will probably be at home...)
My kayak will mostly be used for touring. Both daytrip and extended trips with some cargo (For a week or two).
