: arrgh you got me, Mike!:

: There was a fire in the shop (Daren Neufeld's) shortly after this
: picture was taken. A passerby noticed the flames and smoke
: coming from the garage, called the fire dept, and they arrived
: in time to save most of what was inside. The frame was about 6
: feet from the fire's source (eletrical panel) and unbelievably
: only received severe smoke 'damage' and a bunch of stains from
: the melted insulation that dripped down from the overhead wires.

: However this interrupted the build momentum, and I unfortunately
: moved on to other projects - leaving Sofistry impatiently
: waiting in the wings.

Now that you mention it, I do remember hearing about the fire. Thanks for the (non?)update. ;) Please let us know if you get going on it again. BTW, sorry about the fire, but good news that Sofistry remained intact. My kayak building had stalled, but things are happening again, and I was thinking about different types of kayaks including surf kayaks.
