It's hard to tell for sure in the picture, but the deck looks to be dyed or stained, probably cedar. The upper hull sides I'd bet are walnut though it's awfully hard to tell at that angle, it's also a very heavy wood so will add a considerable amount of weight to the boat. From experience you can't add much hardwood without gaining considerable weight in the boat, but sometimes it's worth it :)

WRC= approx. 23lb/cu.ft. Walnut= approx. 38lb./cu.ft.
