Hi Mike - I *think* we briefly met at a "meet at the beach" a few years ago. I liked your kid's little kayak!

Anyway, having - for all intents and purposes - built both a SF and a Kidarka, I think it's all about looks and what the kids prefer. They will likely not be able to discern a whole lot of handling differences, in any case.
Maybe one of each . . . .
