No chance of that happening. I have never worked with the puzzle joints so I guess I get my chance soon. I have always worked with butt-joints so alignment is a careful process. When you assemble the long panels you must be certain to match all edges. Keep your wire tires snug and not too tight. You will know when you are tightening them too much if you see the wood compressing under the Cu wires.
