: owns the WD kit and I have a student to instruct on the finer details of
: S&G building. Keith has watched me work on the NH project and will be with
: me learning the ropes tonight as I tie in the bulkheads. I figger he'll be
: working on his own craft by next week or so. He is already talking about
: building up a fleet for his family (4 altogether). Looks like we're gonna
: be spending a lot of time together over the next couple of decades.

Robert, I am so excited to hear someone else is building a Solace 17EX. I have had my kit sitting (waiting...for me to get off my...) in the garage for a few years now. I would like to get started on it. Since you will have first hand experience with the kit, (via Kieth) could I use you as a source of enlightenment when the questions come? (I know they will, this is my first build.)
All I have done so far is "glueing" the puzzle joints together for the hull and deck. I'm hoping that if I hear the progress of someone else build of the same thing I will be inspired to follow along.

Glad to hear the NH S&G is coming along fine. I've been helping a friend restore his 1968 Coranado 25 sailboat. Built the galley and electrical panel. WAY more work than I thought when I said yes to helping. Every weekend for the last couple of months and on and off during the winter. No time left for work or my projects. Oh well, what else is new.
