That's a good idea I had not thought of. I got one 'framed up' last night and was looking at it. I don't have a center stringer on the top but rather two stringers to each side of center. It occurred to me that I could also thin the frame at the center by cutting an ellipse. That adds a tad more knee room. That's todays project to work this out.
