Johnsons Floor Wax in a can has always worked for me !

:This in relation to a SOF Wee Lassie and the rub strip I intend to use. A
: recent post showed how to use kerfs to bend a 1/2 inch piece of wood. We
: figured out that filling it with epoxy would be strongest. I would be
: molding the rub strip after the boat is skinned and coated to make a
: perfect fit. I would not want to epoxy the strip to the boat however. This
: is the only time I would be using epoxy and mold release, so I don't want
: to buy anything for a one time use. My idea would be to put saran wrap on
: the boat and covering it with butter to create a mold release.
: Would the saran wrap and butter work?
