: If you have all the water out, make sure the wood is also dry and when/if it

: your rope to pass through from the bottom. Seal the tube on the top end

: pour in the epoxy mix. The tube should seal the other side. If not use
: some white playdough or the like around it. When the end is full push the
: tube the rest of the way. Seal around the tubes with epoxy. Let it filter
: in as long as it will take it, but first tape up the other end of the tube
: so that none escapes.

This sounds like a good way of doing it. Just one question: Would I end up with the tube in the Kayak or is the idea that I remove the tube once the epoxy has hardened? In either case, what kind of tube are we talking about? If left in, perhaps a PVC tube? If pulled out, perhaps a flexible one?
