Thanks for the input.

Should I be concerned about the hull warping if I glass just the outside then go to work on the deck? It may take a while. I'm working in my basement. It may get a bit more humid as the winter turns to spring rains next month. I plan on leaving it attached to the forms until I get some of the deck completed. Well, actually I'll probably glass the hull, take it off the forms, trim the glass at the sheer, plane the sheer a bit, and then put the forms and strongback back in. I could again hot glue it in just a few places to hold it or keep a few straps around it when I'm not working on it to hold it all in shape.

I think I did the hot gluing a bit differently than on the Laughing Loon web site. I attached each strip using clamps, binders, and tape to keep the strips tight to each other and to the forms. After that dried I came back and used a little blob of hot glue in the corner of the strip to form. I only did that where a strip seemed like it was wanting to float. If it seemed tight to the form I didn't hot glue it. At the sheer I glued at each form and at each strip. As I worked closer to the center the need for hot glue almost went away. I found I only needed to glue a few places like on every 2nd or 3rd strip.

I'm not sure about wacking out the forms. This seems to me to ruin all the alignment of the forms on the strongback. I still have the deck to build. I'm using an internal strongback. Maybe that's the difference. I have masking tape on the forms so to remove the hot glue blobs it's pretty easy to just pick them off from the inside
