:A wood screw (or metal screw if you can get a nut in back) might help you pull the indented portion of ply back level. Ideal method, if area is virtually flat, would be to sandwich the damaged area between two metal plates while the epoxy sets, with plastic sheet of course to prevent adhesion. The pressure will force the epoxy into the wood for greater strength.
