Hi Bill

I find that damage tends to be at the ends, and sometimes a bit hard to reach easily, even with hatches.
I put a screw in hatch in my forward bulkheads so I can get to the footrests if they jam as it is almost impossible reach them with an ocean cockpit and too much fun for people on the beach who are watching.

One of the reasons I hate plumbing jobs is that one always ends up contorted in tight spaces.

As I get older I get less bendy.
