After peeking at other boatbuilding websites I thought it was due time for me to start posting some photos of the Cirrus I am building.

So far I have only cut and sanded the deck and hull panels and cut out the forms. Today, after a 10 day absence, I am getting back into construction. The next week or two will be applying veneers to the plywood prior to stitching.

The photo below is a composite of wood scans that I put together in order to get an idea of my proposed deck. The outer panels will be padauk, the second panels are quarter sawn cherry and the main panels are quarter sawn quilted maple.
