I built a boat (12'x 19") for kids and tried it myself. I Just fit at 195# 6'-2" it does float me but is quite tippy. How is the arctic tern 14 stability wise?

I too have some designs to consider, though I intended them as boats for smaller people or sheltered short trip type of paddling they may suit your needs? Merganser 15W 15 feet x 23" and Widgeon 14' by 24"
