It appears that the tool is a copy of an article in Fine Woodworking magazine no. 194, Dec. 2007 on page 14 in the Methods of Work section. I have made and used the jig described in the magazine and can attest to its ease of use and accuracy. You do have to reset the fence for each cut but the uniformity of the cuts makes that worthwhile. I use it with a splitter behind the blade and would recommend that as a necessary part of the setup.
