Well one problem is you're turing a round bottom design into a hard chine design. Better off looking at hard chine designs to start with. Event then, on the water, the boat won't be exactly as designed since the fabric tends to bend in a bit between the chines. Still, it's closer to the orriginal design than starting with a round bottom one.
