Hi Tom,
If the panels fit right first go, use tape to join them initially then hot-melt glue. Take off the tape and clean off any tape residue.

If you have to adjust the panel edges to get them to fit, do full wraps of tape, cut the tape at the chines and put fresh tape over that. Fold back one end of the new tape for a tab and it will peel off and re-attatch easier for adjustments.
