S&G: Stitchless S&G technique ?

One of the forum members mentioned that it is possible to build
"Stitch and Glue" kayak without using any stitches.
It appears he suggested using glue to hold the panels together prior to epoxying instead.

Does anyone have any idea how this works, or have actually built a boat this way?
