In Response To: S&G: Stitchless S&G technique ? (skiffrace)

I did the deck of a Coho stitchless and it worked fine. My approach was the same as Don's except that I used the Extra Thick CA glue. Using an accelerator is highly recommended. You can use strapping tape initially to get things lined up and then start spot ‘welding’ with the CA glue. An extra pair of hands is really helpful. The only danger with this approach is that you need to make sure everything is lined up correctly before gluing because it is difficult (not impossible) to go back and realign. Again using tape first will allow you to check alignment before committing to glue. Like Don, I would not hesitate to use this method again.

Good luck;
Dennis
