Again, I think we are back to sending you to George Dyson for really good answers. Who knows, maybe he'd let you list it for sale at his shop, and you'd have the boat placed in front of the eyes of people who are interested in baidarkas-and may want to buy one to fix up, rather than build one from scratch.

Otherwise, selling a homebuilt boat is more difficult than selling or reselling a commercially-built boat. People can research a commercial design, chat with owners of the same model, they know the design specs, have a warranty (with a company behind it), and they can comparison shop at several locations to find the best price. You have almost none of that going for you. What you have got is a functional boat which bears a strong resemblance to the boat on the cover of a book. That might be a big help in increasing the sales price. People familiar with the book can get the facts they desire from the text. The more you can learn about your particular boat the better your sales pitch will be. Don't sell the boat cheap. It may take a few more weeks, but wait for a fair price.
