It has a lot of the Dyson influence, design and material and appears to be the two hatch Baidarka that George designed in 1983 and built in 1984. Since his book was first published in 1986, you can bet that this came after that and the builder chose wood instead of the aluminum tubing. The other difference I see is the tear drop cockpits on yours, where George's are oval.

My personal opinion is that George's "Baidarka" book and Kenneth Browers "The Starship and the Canoe" were the major catalysts for the revival of traditional sof kayaks. Followers quickly went back to wood frames. You have a nice slice of this history in your possesion.
