Hi Bill,

I have lots of room to put a compass under the deck in my short but high volume yak. And it's close to my eyes so I can see it better. Since it won't be used most of the time it will come out of the yak and stored away by unscrewing two bolts.

Ordered the Folbot pontoons yesterday. Very nice people to deal with and bargain prices. Even a 10% discount going on right now.

Diode running lights might be OK. Wouldn't take up much room and use little power.
