For the blue you're going to have to use some dyed wood. One option would be to inlay some veneer that has been pressure dyed so the color is uniform throughout the thickness. LMI (Luthiers Mercantile International) has a bunch of maple in different colors. The veneer is either 0.3 or 0.6 mm thick. Perhaps you could make your own except thicker...
