Hi Jim
have used Moby latches for couple of years now, they are reliable and pretty strong. Took me a couple of trys to get the right gasket seal and I still get a little water in the holds if I have been dumped in the surf etc. I have never popped a hatch even when doing end over ends on a wave (too much ambition too little skill). They do like biting fingers if you are not cautious and you need to make a deep enough finger pocket to open them easily
cheers
David
