freeship is still continuing - at vers 2.78

freeship is still being developed - now by someone different. it has gone thru 18 modifications since martjin dropped it at freeship 2.6 and now is at freeship 2.78

it is impossible to guess what happened to dave's panels, but the type of panel development required for that boat is basic (the twist is nothing) and i would suspect some part of the process before the software:

for example:

- is every panel on a diff layer

- is every layer checked developable

- are all panel edges checked at being edges or seams

- is most every point connected ACROSS the panel

- was a close visual check (right down close looking across the panel at it's narrow dimensions) done on the display net to see if weird cross panel curvatures present.
