Nope.

Don't bother.

The glass fabric ( tape) is not needed there for strength, and the resin you have already applied will seal the wood nicely. Apply some varnish when you get a chance, just for the UV protection. You might as well call it quits and go celebrate the completion of your boat.

Of course, if you are just looking for more things to tweak and play with, why not start on that next boat now?
