Extreme temp changes & poly kayaks

Looks as though I'm losing my winter kayak storage, and have been contemplating hanging them from the ceiling of my workshop this winter. The big question I'm worried about is the extreme temperature changes the rotomolded poly kayaks will be exposed to. Temperature may drop to just above freezing, and then up to the high 80's up at the ceiling when the woodstove gets cranked up. This cycle will be common place all winter long. My wife, the ever worrisome one, doesn't think it would be too good for "her" kayak. Now I'm wondering...would these extremes be detrimental to the platic and its shape after prolonged exposure???

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, David
