Actually, that was the Kayak Expo sponsored by Southwind Kayaks. It was primarily a venue for commercial kayak manufacturers to demo their boats, paddles, and other gear. It was a great way to get to try alot of differently shaped boats. You could paddle as many kayaks as you could get into (probably around 20) in a day.

A few homebuilders showed up w/ boats, and a kardboard kayak race was also held.
