Per George, squeegee causes shifting of cloth (only of first coat, and before tacky ) However, after passing fingernail test, and before blushing, there should be no further movement or lifting. (?) So, if squeegee fills in voids, and sanding removes high spots, (using sanding block) a procedure I'm going to try is:

1. Apply first coat using the "right roller".

2. At proper time, apply second coat using squeegee, to fill in voids.

3. Sand, using block, in grits of descending #'s until appropriate grit is reached. (as mentioned in previous thread of other origin)

4. Repeat steps 2,3 until weave is gone.

5a. Report results of stupid idea on BBS.

5b. Report success of technique on BBS. (whichever is appropriate)
