Ittt ssure makkes me highher! Next time I'll runn the fume hood!

And it does seem to leave a different finish. I cant tell for sure if it penetrated better, or what, but after three coats the finish is silkier than it was with paint thinner. That may be explained by my replacing the stock of steel wool. I do have to open the door and run the circulation fan.

The differences in the thinners are contaminates. More expensive, more pure. How much do those contaminates matter in an oil finished paddle? Seems to me, it's just going to get beat up anyway.
