I'll agree that bashing someone that isn't present is not kosher, not that it helps in person either! That's part of the reason I go ballistic when folks bash a business on this forum is that it's kind of one-sided not knowing of the nature of the dispute and the focus for the forum isn't trashing each other. I will say that for anyone to get a sense of what works is make a bunch of test panels themselves and go at them. I did it with about 3 dozen combinations of plywood and clothes coming to my own useful conclusions....uh, boats with more glass and wood are heavier and stronger than boats with less, kevlar is neat, carbon is weird, s-glass is cool, e-glass is brittle and affordable, more layers is better than heavy single ones,,,it's possible to get enamored with minutia for little tangible improvements except the mastabatory pleasure of obsessing about something.
