Oh, no, that's not so at all. You see, with lots of room to put things, it's always a game of "where is it?" and I spend time walking around, climbing up and down, looking for that thing I happen to need at the moment. Heck, I must put in a half-mile just walking around the boats!

Seriously, I love my shop. I built it on the equity out of my house in town, when we moved out here. At 35 x 40, it's got plenty of room for storing lots of stuff. Thats the storage end in the pic; the working end isnt visible. There's another 8' behind those shelves. And I've invested a significant part of my disposable income over the last four years outfitting it. I'll put up a pic tomorrow of the other end of it if you want. I know I'm lucky to have it. When it first went up, I spent the better part of a day just sitting there looking at it. It was like a cave inside, with no wiring or windows. It's bigger than the house, which IMHO is as it should be In retrospect, I couldve gotten by with one half that size, but I'm glad I did it the way I did. Built the biggest shell I could afford, and outfitted it slowly. As you can see, boats are more important to me that sheetrock tape and paint.

BTW, Jim Horlacher's is at least as nice. It's smaller, but better finished out.
