As you know, Chris' book is for building a S&G kayak. If you decide to try a stripper, Nick Schade's book The Strip-Built Sea Kayak (see elsewhere on this site) is all you would ever need. It is complete, well explained, and well illustrated. Ted Moores has another book on strip building called KayakCraft. George Putz has one called Wood adn Canvas Kayak Building. This book is for making a more traditional fabric covered boat over a wooden frame.

: I have spent the last few days reading Chris Kulczycki's book "The New
: Kayak Shop". What a help, I am now tool gathering and looking foward
: to starting my project. (Still can't choose between a CLC or Pygmy) What
: other books or vidoes would be helpful?
