In Response To: how much epoxy for guillemot (mark stevens)

: Help! I was just looking at Noahs website and their Guillemot kit comes with
: 2 1/2 gals. of epoxy. Nicks book says 1.1 gal. Can someone who has glassed
: a Guillemot help me?

I'm just finishing up glassing my first Guillemot and have used right at 1.5 gallons. I stripped with cypress and mahogany and I'm pretty sure the cypress absorbed the resin more so than would cedar. Also, I pre-coated the exterior and interior prior to glassing. Last but not least, this is my first boat and I probably erred to the side of excess. Hope this helps.
