Steve Smith, the 'S' half of Whitney & Smith (www.legendaryex.com), special ordered Klepper doubles with cordura nylon decks as their boats get used in extreme conditions. He did not like the result, for reasons which I have forgotten, and has gone back to the standard Klepper deck material.
