Any reason why "Thompsonized " wood is not used for building the frame? There are a lot of scraps of lumber used as pallet saperaters that are free at Home Depot and like stores. Also lumberyards .They are all 48" or less with vairing widths and depths, 1"x1 1/2"x48",2/4s, etc. There is also a lot of scrap pieces left over when building a deck, I am just finding out the hard way. They are water treated so to speak, Good for 8-10 years if left to the elements? Too many spinters? Should be able to shape them.

Any one ever use Sunbrella Boat Canvas as a skin? It comes in colors!! Available pretty cheap.Yea, I am already planning my next build.

Thinking out loud,
Dave M
