When I made the end pours on my Yare, I stood my kayak on end at a steep angle with the sheer clamp centered on the low side. I made each end in two pours so I could run the epoxy down the full-length of the inside, deck-to-shear-clamp seam. This is a good way to fill any of the gaps on the inside of the seam and it also smoothes over any epoxy fillet that squeezes out of the joint. I also used Raka and poured it out of a small paper cup with the rim pinched to form a spout. Almost all of the epoxy made it to the end pour. This was on a plywood boat that had a sharp, 90-degree, inside corner seam to channel the epoxy flow.
