Steve,
I think it is great that Rule is seeking product info from the consumer; I have enjoyed the high quality products from your Company on sailboats and use them today.
My comment is that a battery powered bilge pump starts making a kayak something other than a simple boat to be enjoyed on the water. I had larger sailboats , now a smaller sailboat, and now kayaks. Each time I find that less complex systems is a pleasure ( there is less to break down). Maybe some of those who kayak for days in difficult situations may find this a plus, but I feel the more complex system you have to rely upon, is a system that will go down (loss of battery, bad connections, etc.) and that is not what appeals to me with kayaks. What is wrong with a basic hand bilge pump?
The more holes you put in a boat, the more problems you have in the long run.
One mans opinion.
