Looking for a rudder setup that allows me to still brace my feet.
I've used the sliding pedals but want more stability when I've got the rudder up.
I saw a top tab type system where the braces stay fixed and the tops move a bit, also saw a continous loop systen that looks good. I don't a;ways use the rudder but would like to apply pressure to the paddles.
I need a rudder for those windy days in the San Juan Islands.
I will be adding a rudder, like it or not, those of you purist can sit at home and talk about kayaking but I plan to use my kayak and have been blown around enough to realize that this is reality, It seems as if there are to many experts who have never been in a kayak, much less fearing for their live when the wind is howling and you paddling like hell to get back.
