: I am a little confused

I'm not sure what Corel 7, 8, or 9 are, but I assume we're talking about a pretty generic "paint" graphics application. To me Corel stands for the last bastion of word processing against the tide of MSWord. Although MS took a $200 mil. position in Corel last year, probably due to their Linux applications. If you're running this on a PC it would be worth your time to get and learn to use one of the CAD programs that can create Autocad format files. These applcations start at about $30 and go to maybe $100. I think you'll find the end product both less tedious to create and more accurate. Somewhere in last fall's archieve's, in a discussion of lofting, there's a link to a site that offers Autocad compatible freeware. Just my opinion. Hope it helps.
