Bare wood to epoxy/fiberglass would best be glued with thickened epoxy. What kind of wood glue did you use? I assume you used something more waterproof than carpenters glue. A urethane glue like Gorilla may be OK, but I would be a little nervous about Titebond II. If you are uncertain, lay some fiberglass over the whole thing.

: holding. I sanded the area prior to applying the sheer clamp. I planed the
: top of the clamp to mate with the deck. I just finished painting the other
: three sides of the sheer clamp with epoxy and I plan on joining the deck
: and hull tomorrow morning using thickened epoxy.
