: Hi,

: Does anyone know of a reason not to run the deck strips to completly cover
: the cockpit (just like the hatches) and after glassing both sides, only
: then cutting out the cockpit ? I want to strip the deck this way and need
: to know if I am heading for unforseen trouble.

: Thanks for any input,

Hi Arthur,

They do it both ways. I use the idea of a board member to cut out my cockpit shape out of cardboard and place it on the forms so I would know how to run my decorative strips. An extra bonus was I saved some extra fiberglass to use somewhere else.
